Have you ever heard of the brand, Dr. Ci:Labo? Please pardon my ignorance. When I received this BB cream in one of the months’ Bellabox, I rolled my eyes and thought to myself: “What is this brand that cost that much for a BB cream?” (It was indicated on the introduction card that comes with every Bellabox on the price of the full size product.) So I simply chucked this aside until recently, I kept seeing this brand and so I decided to give it a try.
Prior to using this, I had been quite disappointed with the various BB creams that I had tried. They would cause my skin to break out and my skin would be so oily after a 2-3 hours. So usually, I would only use a BB cream when I am seriously in a hurry or when I am going out for just a while. Now with a baby in toll, I just have more of that in-a-hurry occasions to be using a BB cream and so during one of those days, I tried Dr. Ci:Labo and boy was I surprised by it!
I looked so good with this on. I was wondering if my eyes were playing a trick on me or I just felt exceptionally good about myself that day. So I tried a few other times and it didn’t prove otherwise. This thing simply caused me to look better.
The BB cream is yellow base and looks dark (darker what is captured on the photo above) when first squeezed out from the tube but after application somehow the color adjusts nicely to suit my skin.
This BB cream is slightly thicker and I believe that’s why it also has a better coverage compared to the rest of the BB creams that I have used. With a better coverage it still looks natural on my face and does not give the “foundation look”.
Best of all, it does not cause breakout on my skin! And not oily after 2-3 hours. The makeup still looked quite in place with no excessive oil. I am really pleased with it.
Dr. Ci:Labo BB Perfect Cream White 377+ retails at S$67 for a 30g tube. I am so tempted to buy the full size product cos I believe I will be going to it very often with the baby-in-toll-in-a-hurry mode all the time…
